Personal Watercraft

Acceptable Watercraft

· Makes and models are limited to fiberglass personal watercraft (jet ski type) with inboard jetdrive propulsion that are generally less than 13’ in length. They feature motorcycle-type seating for up to 4 passengers. Jetdrive watercraft over 13’ typically have wider beams and seat passengers like regular boats. They have higher values and should be classified as power boats and placed in the Watercraft Program.

Operator Experience

· All operators must comply with local laws regarding operator licensing.

· Prior approval is required if within the last 36 months any operator has had 3 or 4 moving violations.

· Personal watercraft must be owned by a single individual or individual with spouse.
